Taylor Bridges also drove in a pair of runs while going 2 for 4, and Trevor Paradowski and Keaton Carson had two hits apiece for the Mustangs (20-10, 9-4 in 2-5A), who used a six-run third inning to break open a scoreless tie.
Thorne, a Stanford signee, walked three and struck out seven to improve to 6-2 on the year.
