Amberlee Reed, Micah Painter and Brenda Parker have been honored as Teachers on the Rise winners for March.
Lubbock Independent School District students nominated Reed, a first-grade teacher at Wright Elementary School, and Parker, an art teacher at Coronado High School. Painter, a career/keyboarding teacher at Laura Bush Middle School, was nominated by students of the Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District.
