Texas Tech will host an opening ceremony for its new Graduate Center at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, in the basement level of the west wing of the Administration Building.
The new 2,000-square-foot facility will be used exclusively by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. It will provide meeting space, a computer lab, a dining area, a conference room and a lounge.
Tech President Duane Nellis will deliver a few remarks along with Provost Lawrence Schovanec and Vice Provost for Graduate Affairs Mark Sheridan.
A reception will follow.
