Lubbock District 5 Councilwoman Karen Gibson said she plans to officially announce on Feb. 4 her re-election plans for the May 10 municipal elections.
Gibson said she will fully outline her agenda for her term when she makes her announcement.
However, she said Wednesday, Jan. 22, if elected she plans to continue working on reducing the city’s debt, fight the spread of synthetic marijuana and continue working on maintenance of city streets and buildings.
