Larry and Cheryl York, of Lubbock, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Chase York, to James Daniel Williams, son of Jim and Lynne Williams of Frisco. The bride-elect, a graduate of Texas Tech University, is employed as a communications manager for The University of Texas at Dallas. The future bridegroom, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, is employed as an engineer for Phoenix Petrocorp, Inc. The couple will marry May 31 in Plano, Texas.
