In Saturday’s Avalanche-Journal Opinion page, letter writer Gary Yates addressed Gail Kring’s comments last week about Lubbock Power & Light.
Kring, the city-owned utility’s board chair, said it was time for people to stop bashing LP&L for rate hikes and other issues.
The day after that story appeared in the A-J, we had a story about someone firing a BB gun at an LP&L vehicle.
That behavior is never acceptable.
But as much as Kring, fellow board members and LP&L staff would like the anger to go away, it isn’t.
