Good things are happening in Abernathy. The Parkway housing addition is well underway, and construction of a new development called Legacy Acres will soon begin. Business expansion in Lubbock and growth from the oil and gas business and wind and solar energy projects are expected to help Abernathy grow. Housing growth is always great news for a city.
