As area school districts approach the upcoming school year, student safety and security may be higher on the priority list than ever.
Many area school officials were admittedly shaken by the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December 2012 and say they’re doing their best to ensure nothing like that happens in Lubbock County.
