Texas Tech’s Center for Active Learning and Undergraduate Engagement will host Red Raider Palapalooza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 21 at Urbanovsky Park.
The event is part of Raider Welcome Week and will feature door prizes, a live band, free food, an appearance by Raider Red and other activities. It is meant to help new students get to know each other and spark an interest in undergraduate research.
Last year, about 700 people attended the event. This year, the center expects a larger turnout.
