Senior Camden Arnold, expected to take over as the starter in the fall, threw for five touchdowns, two each to Blake Walden and Bryan Payne, and Monterey earned a berth in the state 7-on-7 tournament in July with a 38-32 win over El Paso Chapin in the finals of the Frenship qualifying tournament at Peoples Bank Stadium.
