Officials from the Community Health Center of Lubbock announced the “Build A Healthier West Texas” capital campaign Wednesday, May 29, at the future home of a 45,000-square-foot CHCL building, 1610 Fifth St.
Michael Sullivan, chief executive officer of CHCL, said the project was made possible by a $2 million grant from the J.T. & Margaret Talkington Charitable Foundation.
He said construction is expected to begin in February with a goal of opening the doors in May 2015.
