SAN ANTONIO
Warm weather and sunshine are helping the San Antonio area dry out after thunderstorms this weekend flooded area roads, rivers and creeks, killing three people who were swept away by rushing waters.
The National Weather Service on Monday discontinued a flood watch for the region. A flood warning did remain for the San Antonio River near Falls City, located about 45 miles southeast of San Antonio.
The Texas Department of Transportation and other agencies reported Monday that only a few roads remain closed in San Antonio due to flooding.
