IRVING — Trader Joe’s has chosen a site in suburban Dallas for the specialty grocer’s first distribution center in Texas.
The Dallas Morning News reported Monday, May 6, that Trader Joe’s has leased a nearly 729,000-square-foot building in Irving.
Trader Joe’s spokeswoman Alison Mochizuki said work will begin Friday, May 10, to transform the warehouse into a grocery-distribution complex. The site is expected to open later this year with about 200 employees.
