A retired Marine noncommissioned officer who lost both legs in combat seven years ago shared a story of hope and recovery last week at the WorkforceSolutions South Plains employer awards luncheon.
The luncheon was held Tuesday, April 23, at Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
Josh Bleill, who was wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated under a Humvee he was riding in near Fallujah in 2006, said it took time before he realized that his war wounds and his recovery created a platform for his life.
