The Lubbock Christian High school softball team clinched the TAPPS District 1-3A title with a pair of blowout victories Saturday against Haltom City Bethesda.
The Lady Eagles beat Bethesda 24-0 despite notching only four hits in the first game, and then toppled Bethesda 16-6, getting just five hits. Both games lasted five innings.
Shaylin Stephenson threw a no-hitter in the first game.
Renni Scarborough doubled in the first game, and Krista Snodgrass had a two-bagger in the second.
