Re: Avalanche-Journal front pages from April 7 and April 14.
On the most recent two Sundays, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal has had images of men hunting or fishing on its front cover — above the fold.
I think of Sunday as a day of peace, thankfulness and reflection. Glorifying those who choose to harm to God’s creatures is not in keeping with this spirit.
Surely there must be people in the county making positive, life-affirming contributions who could be highlighted instead. Thank you.
