For the first few weeks of the Texas Tech baseball team’s offensive struggles, the one thing keeping them in games on a nightly basis was the pitching.
But over the course of the past two weeks, the pitching has started to struggle right along with it, and the result has been the worst stretch of play this season. Tech has lost five straight, nine of its last 10 and 10 of its last 12 to fall under .500 (17-18) for the first time since the final game of the 2010 season.
