It was a thrill to see more than 7,000 people attend a Texas Tech football scrimmage in Midland Saturday. It indicates people in our region share the excitement of people here in Lubbock about the next generation of Texas Tech football. We hope Tech made many new friends in Midland who will be driving to Lubbock this fall for football games.
