The Civilian Conservation Corp’s 80th anniversary celebration is 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Mack Dick group pavilion located at Palo Duro Canyon State Park, 11450 Park Road 5, Canyon.
The event will feature educational displays, hands-on activities, show and tell, antique tool demonstrations and a group photo at 4:30 p.m.
The event concludes Sunday, April 7, with exploration of the park.
Regular park entry fees will apply. Daily entrance is $5, with free admission for children 12 and under.
