Road improvements will make driving through a segment of TX 114 west of Lubbock safer, according to Texas Department of Transportation officials.
A $1 million road work project on a portion of TX 114 between County Roads 1100 and 6700 will start Monday and end about mid-May, according to a TxDOT news release,
“The project will make intersection and turn-lane improvements and is expected to enhance the overall safety of the roadway,” Edward Sewell, TxDOT project engineer, in a statement.
