After rain cut last year’s event down to three hours, Lubbock County Relay for Life organizers are preparing for uncontrollable circumstances, should they arise for the 2014 event.
“We will be moving it inside (if it rains) like we did last year,” said Miranda Pruitt, Relay for Life specialist. “We’re actively working with activities and entertainment and logistics for scheduling a set of events if we have to move it inside.”
The 2014 Lubbock County Relay for Life will be from 7 p.m. May 9 to 7 a.m. May 10 at the Coronado High School track.
