PREMONT (AP) — At least two people are dead and 12 others have been injured after a pickup rolled over during a police chase in South Texas.
KRIS television station in Corpus Christi reports (http://bit.ly/1n4nVsl ) that a police officer in San Diego attempted to stop the pickup Wednesday when its plates did not match motor vehicle records.
The driver fled but eventually lost control of the vehicle in Premont along a stretch of rural highway. Those killed and injured all were in the vehicle.
