AMARILLO — Lindsay Brewer threw a two-hit shutout and Lubbock Christian High walloped Amarillo San Jacinto 16-0 Tuesday in a game shortened by run rule.
Brewer (7-0) struck out six and didn’t allow a runner past second base.
Emma Scarborough doubled and tripled for LCHS (20-6, 5-0) for two of the Eagles’ seven hits. They also drew six walks.
