Al and Ida Blessen of Lubbock are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Allison Plott, to John Blake Tilley, Jr. Blake is the son of John and Julie Tilley of Palestine, Texas. Kristen is a 2010 graduate of Coronado High and Blake is a 2005 graduate of Westwood High in Palestine. They will both graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in May 2014. She will be employed at Chevron USA in Houston and he will be employed at SM Energy in Houston.
