Lubbock police are searching a neighborhood in south Lubbock for a suspected car thief who may also have taken a 6-year-old girl on Tuesday afternoon, March 11.
Officers are going door-to-door in the neighborhood of Avenue S between 78th and 82nd streets searching for the thief, according to Lubbock police Sgt. Jason Lewis.
He said a 2007 Saturn Ion was reported stolen about 2:30 p.m. from the K-Mart parking lot.
