Lubbock Christian University had T-shirts made up to commemorate the women’s basketball team’s historic first season in the Heartland Conference. The back read: “20-0. Unconquered. Undefeated. Undeniable.”
The Lady Chaparrals made good on that boast Saturday, beating St. Edward’s 90-66 in their season finale at the Rip Griffin Center to cap an unbeaten run through their new league.
