Abebe Hunt scored two unassisted goals and Lubbock High knocked off District 7-4A leader San Angelo Lake View 3-1 on Tuesday.
Lubbock High took a 1-0 lead when Alexis Loredo scored off a free kick by Kyle Kjellberg. Hunt’s two goals made it 3-0 before Lake View scored with 20 minutes left to avoid the shutout.
Lubbock High will host Abilene Wylie at 5 p.m. Friday at Chapman Field.
