Lubbock’s Libraries Board members are turning to citizens for an alternative to the $300,000-per-year Godeke Branch library lease Lubbock city leaders say they want to replace.
And board members hope one of those solutions comes forward during a town hall meeting planned to gather citizen input from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 18 at the Godeke Library, 6701 Slide Rd.
“Quite often what you’ll find is someone that has a million-dollar idea,” board member Dave King said.
