Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, paid a visit to Estacado High School to see how students are learning about personal financial literacy.
On Thursday, Feb. 20, Cornyn joined Lubbock Independent School District Superintendent Berhl Robertson and others in the launch of the Prosperity Bank Financial Scholars Program at Estacado.
The program, a partnership between Prosperity Bank and EverFi, Inc., provides web-based financial management software to area schools free of charge.
Estacado is the first high school in the area to utilize the EverFi software.
