Texas Tech announced a record spring enrollment of 30,864 students on Monday, Feb. 3. But the record is a few thousand short of Tech’s fall enrollment of 33,111.
Ethan Logan, director of undergraduate admissions, said that’s usually the norm for the spring semester.
“I think the simplest answer to that is in the fall, we have a large incoming freshman class,” he said. “In the spring, there’s much fewer freshman who are graduating early from high school.”
