Reports from law enforcement indicated Sunday’s, Feb. 2, snow didn’t hamper travel too much for the South Plains. But we may not be in the clear yet.
The National Weather Service said a second winter storm may strike mid-week and even a third winter storm is possible.
For the time being, officials in Lubbock County and surrounding counties reported few problems. Lubbock police investigated only one accident with serious injuries Sunday morning. Police said a man who suffered from a medical condition drove his car off the road and crashed.
