HOUSTON (AP) — Harris County officials said a 31-year-old man who was involved in a road-rage incident with his wife has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in the deaths of a woman and her child.
Authorities said Emil McMahon of Crosby had argued with his wife and they were in separate vehicles Sept. 29 in Baytown when McMahon maneuvered his pickup to stop his wife’s vehicle.
The pickup swerved into oncoming traffic, striking head-on a car driven by Tania M. Vercher of Baytown, east of Houston. Vercher and 2-year-old Alejandro Vercher were killed.
