A 53-year-old Lubbock man is behind bars Monday, Jan. 27, after Lubbock police said he robbed a man after stabbing him Sunday in a North Lubbock motel parking lot.
Raymond Ledesma Jr., is being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center on a first-degree felony aggravated robbery charge and a misdemeanor charge of theft less than $50.
Investigators believe Ledesma stabbed 39-year-old Jerry Ybarra during a fight shortly before 8 p.m. at the Traveler’s Inn at 714 Ave. Q, according to a Lubbock Police Department news release.
