AUSTIN — The post of lieutenant governor is often touted as the most powerful in Texas, and Monday night the four Republican candidates will get their first — and probably best — chance to win over voters through a televised debate.
If the last six months of campaigning are any indication, they’ll have a hard time demonstrating what makes them different without resorting to inside baseball.
