Despite improving its second-round score by 32 strokes, the Coronado girls golf team is still in the middle of the pack after the second round of the District 2-5A golf tournament Thursday at The Rawls Course.
Coronado shot a second-round 398, which puts the Lady Mustangs eighth after two rounds at 828, 152 strokes behind leader Midland Lee. The Lady Rebels shot a second-round 340 to lead the tournament with a total score of 676.
