Levelland’s Mallet Event Center hosted 90 events in 2012, and Levelland and Hockley County officials believe it will have more and bigger events in the future. The busy beginning for the center, which can host concerts, rodeos , banquets and other events, indicates the $15 million bond approved by Hockley County voters to build it will be a good investment.
