Congratulations to the Texas Tech Raiders for being selected to play in the Holiday Bowl!
Notice that I didn’t call them the Red Raiders. That’s because I saw red only as trim on the football team’s uniforms. I suppose they could be called the Gray Raiders or Black Raiders since those colors were worn instead of red.
Coaches say recruits select universities because they are attracted to uniforms like those worn by Tech this season. But I know Texas Tech has much, much more to offer than just gimmick uniforms.
