Recent freezing temperatures delayed transportation to a previous tour stop, but Michael Martin Murphey’s Cowboy Christmas 2013 show in Lubbock will go on as scheduled today, Dec. 10.
“We’re so glad to be here and stay here in one place,” Murphey said in a phone interview with A-J Media on Monday. “We’ve been fighting the ice storm.”
Despite transportation delays, Murphey said he made it to his other shows and is looking forward to bringing Christmas cheer — cowboy style — to Lubbock.
