Congratulations to the Lubbock Police Department for its annual Santa Cops program where they team up with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Thirty-five youngsters from were taken shopping, out to eat and bowling Saturday. Our police are not only doing a great service for these kids, but they're also showing the young people police don't only come by when there's a problem.
