David Gaschen is a Lubbock native and Texas Tech graduate who has achieved national stardom, including performing the title role in “Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway. He is back in Lubbock to sing the role of Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables” through Sunday. Gaschen’s returns to Lubbock are always welcome, but this role is especially exciting.
