Texas Tech rallied from a two-set deficit to take the third set but could not complete the comeback as Oklahoma grabbed a 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19 win in the Big 12 Conference volleyball opener for both teams.
Tech (7-9, 0-1) got 21 kills and 15 digs from sophomore Jenna Allen, who was making her season debut after sitting out with an injury. Breeann David added 18 kills and 21 digs.
Tech opens its home Big 12 slate on Wednesday, Oct. 2, against Iowa State.
