Six people have suffered burns and other injuries when an oxygen pack exploded as a nurse was treating a high school student.
The nurse was tending to the student Monday in the field house at Lone Star High School in the Dallas suburb of Frisco. Firefighters were arriving when the nurse changed oxygen canisters. But the new canister exploded, exposing the nurse, another student and firefighters to chemicals. An assistant principal also was transported to a hospital for treatment.
