Shallowater-based political blogger Clif Burnett was found dead at his home Thursday, Sept. 12.
Lubbock County sheriff’s Lt. Bryan Taylor said Emergency Medical Services personnel found Burnett in his backyard shortly before noon and called the Sheriff’s Office.
Burnett, 60, apparently was working in his yard when he died.
Taylor explained that Burnett had been a caregiver who was working with someone. The person called EMS because he wasn’t feeling well and Burnett wasn’t available.
Taylor said Burnett was last seen alive sometime Tuesday afternoon.
