DALLAS — Police said a crime-watch volunteer suspected of raping at least four women in Dallas has been arrested in Louisiana.
Dallas Police Maj. Jeff Cotner said federal agents arrested 38-year-old Van Draylan Dixson on Tuesday at a motel in Baton Rouge, La.
Police believe one man sexually assaulted as many as nine women this summer in Dallas’ Fair Park neighborhood, near downtown.
Investigators say DNA evidence has linked Dixson to four of those attacks. Test results from other attacks are pending.
