Martinson loses in
eGolf Tour playoff
WALLACE, N.C. – Former Lubbock golfer Mikel Martinson settled for a second-place tie Saturday at the River Landing Open, the second time this season he has lost an eGolf Tour tournament in a playoff.
Ryan Nelson of Charleston, S.C., chipped in on the second playoff hole for a dramatic victory after he went to sudden death with Martinson and Will Collins of Salisbury, N.C. The three finished regulation at 20-under-par.
