Seattle sweeps Tech volleyball in opener
OGDEN, Utah — The Texas Tech volleyball team had eight service errors and 20 hitting errors, allowing Seattle to sweep a season-opening match from the Red Raiders on Friday at the Wildcat Invitational at Swanson Gymnasium.
Breeann David had 11 kills to lead Tech, but the Red Raiders could not overcome their mistakes in a 25-20, 25-19, 25-22 loss. David had just two errors in hitting .429 (11 for 21) while Meghan Stacy added nine kills. Aubree Piper, Mikia Mills and Courtney Ensch added four each.
