PLAINVIEW — Like most football teams, the Wayland Baptist Pioneers will tout their experience as a major asset going into the 2013 season.
But their experience goes far beyond what most every other team in the nation will be able to put forth, including the coaching staff.
Wayland is coming off its first season of competition in 72 years in 2012 when they went 2-7 with a team composed primarily of freshmen.
