Private schools plan for reopening soon
Private schools in Lubbock will welcome their students to another school year well ahead of their public school counterparts.
Lubbock Christian School, 2604 Dover Ave., will begin classes at 8 a.m. today Aug. 14. According to a news release, school officials are requesting that drivers take extra caution and look out for students when traveling in the area near 26th Street and Chicago Avenue, as it is currently under construction.
