Police said a forklift operator has died following a Texas Panhandle traffic accident when the equipment collided with a pickup truck.
Amarillo police said Monday’s accident killed 50-year-old Walter Orville Faux of Amarillo.
Investigators said Faux was using a forklift to unload roofing materials from a tractor-trailer when he drove in front of the parked rig and into traffic. Police said the forklift hit the moving truck and then overturned.
