The Lubbock Lions Club will host a luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at the Lubbock Scottish Rite Learning Center, 1101 70th St.
Lunch is $9.50.
Joe B. Hunt, retired Texas Ranger and sheriff, will be the guest speaker. He also will promote his newly published book, “Joe B. Hunt, Texas Ranger, Camp Fire Tales.”
Hunt also plans to have a book signing from 4 to 6 p.m. at the La Quinta Inn, 4115 Marsha Sharp Fwy.
